The math is real
Contracts carry V₹50M notional with 10% margin and a V₹1M commission, and the whole book is marked to market on every price change. Contracts expire on a published schedule every few rounds, so a position can be taken with a horizon and the expiry priced in.

Pass & Play seats two to five people on one device, same as the Datacenter Economy game. Trade at your stop, roll, hand it over. The hints panel reads the board ahead for whoever is holding the device.

📖 Game Guide
Currency
Every amount in the game is denominated in the Virya Rupee (V₹) — the exchange’s settlement currency. Prices, margins, commissions, fines and your final score all print in V₹.
Objective
Finish with the highest VIRYA Score = Net Worth (V₹M) + 10 × Future Points — ahead of every rival desk. One Future Point is worth V₹10M of net worth, so the stops that sell points for cash are exchange rates: the Renewable Auction pays 5 points for V₹30M, a net +20 score, and the Datacenter PPA pays 8 for V₹40M, a net +40. Trading has to beat that, and a contract costs V₹1M commission each way, so a round trip needs a 4% move before it earns anything. The game ends when the 101-card Trade Deck is exhausted, or when a desk calls the last round — in pass-and-play that finishes the round so every desk gets equal turns.
Game Modes
Solo vs bots pits you against up to three rival desks. Pass & Play seats 2–5 people on one device, like VIRYA: The Datacenter Economy — each player trades at their stop, rolls, and hands the device to the next desk. One trade card is drawn per roll, so bigger tables burn the deck faster.
Your Rivals (solo mode)
Each bot appears on the board as the object its character is remembered for:
Chanakya — the Arthashastra scroll. Fades whatever just moved most; patient, hard to shake.
Shakuni — the loaded dice. Chases momentum with big size; streaky and dangerous.
Arjuna — the Gandiva bow. Waits in silence, then strikes the biggest dislocation with precise size.
Bots roll after you each round. Their News stops put extra cards on the tape, so the market moves faster with more rivals — and the deck runs out sooner.

📍 Resolve your stop, then trade if allowed. Passing GRID HUB pays V₹15M; landing exactly on it pays V₹30M ("perfect dispatch").

Trading & The Math
Every contract = V₹50M notional with 10% initial margin (V₹5M) plus a V₹1M commission per contract. Go LONG if you expect prices to rise, SHORT if you expect them to fall.
P&L = Contracts × V₹50M × (Price − Entry) ÷ Entry (sign flips for shorts). Futures expire. Every desk's book settles on a scheduled expiry that arrives every few rounds and is counted down in your book panel, so you always know how long a position has to work. Landing on the Settlement Day tile expires your own book early — and only yours.
Margin Call
Land on the Margin Call stop with any position's unrealized loss deeper than 10% of your cash and you pay V₹25M maintenance margin. Cut losers before the desk cuts you.

Future Points
Earned at Renewable Auctions, the Research Lab, Carbon Audits and Datacenter Row (a nod to VIRYA: The Datacenter Economy). Each is worth 10 score points — sometimes the transition beats the trade — and your rivals will grab these if you hesitate.
Glossary
Futures contract — agreement to buy/sell a commodity at a set price on a future date.
Margin — collateral posted to hold a position; a margin call demands more when losses mount.
Mark-to-market — revaluing positions at current prices every move.
